phase 4
product strategy documentation
This stage defines how the product will solve the problem. At this point in the Spike, you will have one to three solutions somewhat ‘shaped,’ but it isn’t fully clear yet. In this step, we bring our solutions into full fidelity, documenting the additional aspects of a strategic plan for these new solutions.
Once the dependencies and systemic impacts have been identified, teams are ready to start planning road maps and timelines. This involves setting deadlines for each stage of development, outlining any major milestones that need to be achieved, and ensuring all the necessary resources are available. These should be reviewed and updated regularly.
